Bon Scott's statue.

This is old news now, but none the less is still definitely worth starting a thread for. Doug Thorncroft president of the W.A. Bon Scott fan club worked hard for 8 years to have Bon immortalized in bronze, and on the 24th February 2008 he got to see his dream come true at the unveiling which took place at the Claremont Showgrounds in Perth Western Australia.

In a statement Doug said "It's true Bon in his rock and roll singer stance. He's giving it all to the crowd, "He's got a microphone in his left hand, tilted up and the cable from the amp on the right, and it's just so Bon, "His jeans are painted on with his package bulging out."

Well Doug, I for one salute you mate, thankyou from a long time AC/DC/Bon Scott fan for your hard work and dedication to make this happen.
